Bill Caterisano is a senior technology writer for The Sessum Group, focusing on projects that leverage his extensive background in software systems, statistics, and advanced analytics. Bill, who has more than 30 years of experience in developing and documenting advanced software systems for data collection and analysis, continues to consult on software projects big and small as president of Clarion Systems, Inc., which he founded in 1997. Clarion has provided engineering consulting services to such companies as Xerox Corporation, Eastman Kodak Company, ColorCentric Corporation, VPN Systems Inc., and I&R Partners. Bill was also co-founder of and chief software engineer at Quality Information Systems Inc., where he designed, implemented, and documented software systems for the Statistical Process Control (SPC) of manufacturing processes. This software was acquired by the Datamyte division of Rockwell Automation, where he served as lead engineer in its advanced development group until 1993. Bill, who received a BS in computer systems from Rochester Institute of Technology, has published several articles in technology magazines and journals.
