Jeneane Sessum is president of The Sessum Group. As the words and voice behind dozens of Fortune 500/1000 companies over the last 25 years—including American Management Systems, Delta Air Lines, Equifax, IBM, Kodak, and Nokia—Jeneane has given vitality and personality to corporations by providing creative, targeted communications that deliver compelling messages. As senior business writer for Ketchum’s Global Technology Practice, she was responsible for writing virtually every type of communication—websites, brochures, ads, white papers, points of view, articles, speeches, launch strategies, and more. Prior to joining Ketchum, Jeneane served as director of corporate communications for Systems Techniques, a health care data warehousing company, where she executed the marketing and PR programs that built the company’s brand and led to its acquisition. She spent five years with Eastman Kodak Company managing a Technical Publications Group prior to moving to Atlanta. Jeneane is a social media pioneer with a personal blog ranked in the Technorati Top 10,000 among millions of blogs. She started blogging in 2001 and founded the first women’s group blog, Blog Sisters, that same year. She has helped companies like Cox Communications and Top Ten Media with their blogging strategies and has served as an Advisory Board Member and Contributing Editor to BlogHer. Jeneane’s social media expertise has been featured in such publications as Business Week, The New York Times, Time Magazine, and The Times Online. She graduated summa cum laude from St. John Fisher College in Rochester with a double major in journalism and English.
